Paver Patio with Fire Pit in Ephrata, PA

We replaced the front walkway four years earlier, and a patio was always on their wish list! A few years slipped by, and after a new sunroom was added to the back of their home in Ephrata, PA… Harvey & Jeanette were ready for a patio! Everything about this project was custom. Paver and wall color choices were carefully considered, and we brought a large variety of samples to their home to finalize color choices. It was well worth it, as the colors complement the home beautifully! This patio combines concrete pavers with natural stone treads and wall caps.

One of Harvey’s favorite sayings during the patio design process was “there’s no beauty in straight lines, I always say.” We took that saying to heart, with curved seating walls and a special inlay around the fire pit. Just before the project started, Jeanette called to see if we could add a grill island for their new Primo ceramic grill. Of course we could… and we even delivered with a curved granite countertop! The fire pit was capped with the remnants of the granite slab, tying these two outdoor living features together. The granite was fabricated onsite and remains a focal point of the patio.
