Sales

As a sales associate, you will be designing and bidding on projects. This position is working with customer quote requests received via phone or our website. It does not involve cold calling. At the beginning of employment, this position will require part time work on the landscape and hardscape crews to learn the details of our trade.

Responsibilities & Requirements of the position:

  • Conducting phone interviews with potential clients
  • Meeting clients for jobsite consultations
  • Designing landscapes, landscape lighting, & outdoor living areas
  • Estimating projects
  • Meeting clients for proposal reviews

JOB SUMMARY

The focus of this position is working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines. There is a need for an effective communicator, someone who is able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns. There will be many different people to meet and work with. The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others, including the company, its management, the team, the company’s customers, or all of the above. A persuasive, teaching style of communication is required to communicate the company’s policies, programs, and systems. A faster-than- average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently. This portion of the work will often focus on relationships with others; correct handling of details dealing with others is necessary to maintain and grow relationships. If the job involves managing others, following up carefully, closely, and cheerfully is required to ensure both correct work and maintenance of the relationships. Secretary

This position may begin as part-time work. Jobsite photography, social media management, and organizing events are tasks that may be added if desired. The individual will spend most of their time working in the office located in East Earl, with the possibility of spending some time working remotely.

Hardscape Crew Member

As a hardscape crew member, you will be assisting with job layouts, reading prints, installation of segmented walls & paving systems.Experience in landscape, masonry, or general construction beneficial but on-the-job training and industry certifications are provided. Willow Gates Landscaping is an established design/build company serving Lancaster, Chester, Berks & surrounding areas.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Installation of patios & retaining walls
  • Installation of outdoor kitchens & driveways
  • Lifting 50+ pounds

Hardscape Foreman

As a hardscape foreman, you will be supervising the hardscape crew, reading prints and elevation details. You will also be supervising QC and client interactions as well as scheduling materials. A hardscape foreman must have the following traits:
